Not long after receiving Offbeat Magazine's "Best Country/Folk Artist" and "Best Country/Folk Album" award for 2012, Yvette got the call to perform at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival once again.    The Yvette Landry Band will perform Friday, May 4th with an all-star line-up that includes, Richard Comeaux, Beau Thomas, Daniel Coolik, and Glenn Fields.  Don't miss it!

Offbeat Magazine's annual "Best of the Beat" awards were presented on January 27 at Generations Hall, where George Porter, Jr., John Rankin, Scott Billington and Mary Howell were honored with Lifetime Achievement recognition.  This year in the Best of the Beat, OffBeat readers voted for several categories including "Best Country/Folk Album" and "Best Country/Folk Artist" of the year.  We are pleased to announce that Yvette Landry was selected a winner in each of these two categories.  Other winners included Trombone Shorty, Givers, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, Tab Benoit and many more.
